9 May 2013 Today the Pelkhil boys’ basketball team played their semi-final’s match against Rinchen HSS. Rinchen had given us a tough match in 2012 in the finals and we expected much of the same. So although confident, we were still not confident enough and the team spent last evening and this morning at the courts doing shooting drills.
However, the game turned out to be a comfortable win for us. This was apparent from the very first quarter with Pelkhil rolling out to a quick 24-12 lead. Compared to the Motithang game, which sustained high tension until the last 0.4 seconds of the game, this game was a foregone conclusion quite early on.
In the end, Pelkhil won comfortably at 45-24.
