In support of the survivors of the Great Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami of 11 March, today Tshogyal Pema (Class X) handed over a cheque for Nu.301,181.57 to Mr. Tomoki Nitta, JICA Resident Representative. The funds were raised by the students of Pelkhil School and their parents, in collaboration with Kuensel Corporation and Bhutan Agro Industries. Present were Mr. Chencho Tshering, MD, Kuensel Corporation, and Mr. Leeladhar, Bhutan Agro Industries. The money will be forwarded to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
