Today we had a friendly football match with the school team from Lungtenzampa MSS at the school ground. It was the first of many friendlies we will organize this year. The match served as a warm up for our team which so far has no experience playing together as a team. While the Pelkhil team dominated possession, the shots on goal were hardly ‘on’ goal, with many flying in many directions. LMSS had some very talented players and they scored first. Pelkhil was unable to respond until the very last minute. The final result was a tie at 1-1.
LMSS has been invited to come again to practice on our field this week.
Our next friendly is yet to be scheduled but our plans are to play it against Rinchen HSS.
All of this is in preparation for the Inter-school Football Tournament scheduled around mid-day by the Thromde.
