28 May 2013 In what turned out to be a highly charged and emotional match, Kelki defeated Pelkhil by a solitary goal. Apart from the score, there was very little difference between the two teams in terms of skills or possession. Pelkhil actually scored in the first few minutes from a free kick which bystanders confirmed bounced off the bar inside the line before spinning out. Unfortunately, this was not seen by the referee and no goal was given.
Kelki’s goal was also scored from a free kick. The Pelkhil goalkeeper was unfortunately slightly off his line and couldn’t reach the ball. However, our goalie also made a lot of other very good saves.
Kelki HSS will now face Loseling MSS in the finals to be held on 29th May at the Changlimithang grounds.
