SOCIAL FORESTRY DAY

1 June 2013  As June 2 fell on a Sunday, the boys of Class XI celebrated Social Forestry Day today by planting 50 tree saplings provided by the Environment section of the Thimphu Municipal Corporation. Most of the saplings were deodara  or tsendenshing with a few other species like dogwood. The saplings were planted along the riverside on the school campus. The TMC also provided refreshments for the participants.
